Next Step Archery Cancellation Policy
Deposits and Payments – general information:
- Archery series classes, JOAD Programs, Recreational Leagues, NSA Team, and Lesson Packages are paid in full at the time of registration.
- All private lessons require full payment at time of booking your appointment
- Archery Parties, Archery Tag Parties, Corporate Events, and all other group events that are booked for 2 hours or more require a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure your reservation with the balance due at the end of the event.
Cancellation and Rescheduling for Private Lessons
- Private Lessons can be rescheduled or refunded at no charge when you contact Next Step Archery, info@nextsteparchery.org, 24 hours or more before your scheduled lesson time.
- If you call or email Next Step Archery to reschedule or cancel your lesson within 24 hours, there will be a 30% cancellation fee, deducted from the reschedule or refund.
No-Shows and Last Minute Cancellations
- If you cancel with no notice or do not show, please be aware that you will forfeit the entirety of your fees.
- If you have a lesson package on file, a lesson will be deducted from your package.
- Be advised that arriving 15 minutes late will result in a no-show. If you do arrive, the lesson will be kept to the original time.
Cancellation for Lesson Packages
- Lesson Packages may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund of your purchase price as long as they have not been used.
- You may return your unused lesson package up to 90 days of purchase for a refund of your purchased price minus a 30% cancellation charge.
- Any used Lesson Packages may not be refunded.
Cancellation and Rescheduling for Archery Series Classes, JOAD Programs, Recreation League, and the NSA Team:
- These programs have limited space and those spaces cannot be refilled after the start date of the program.
- Registration for these programs can be canceled or rescheduled upt o 48 hours in advance or their scheduled start state for a full refund/credit.
- Within a 48 hours notice, a 30% cancellation fee will be applied to your refund or reschedule.
- Refunds and Reschedules are not offered after the start date of these programs; there are no refunds on partially used classes.
- Missed Archery Series Classes: If you need to miss one class, you'll have the ability to join in on one free Open Shoot. If you need to miss more than one class, you'll be able to attend these Open Shoots at their regular rate.
Cancellation and Rescheduling for all Parties, Archery Tag©, and Corporate Events:
- Registration for these Group Events can be rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance.
- Group Events that are canceled after booking forfeit their 30% non-refundable deposit.
By placing a deposit/payment at the time of scheduling for an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the cancelation policy as described above.

- Team Dues are in a tier structure based on the option selected at the time of the application.
- These tiers can be adjusted as needed for the following month.
- Any tiers with lessons are a 'use or lose' each month
- These lessons are at a drastically reduced price from their usual hourly rate.
- If our coaches cancel, then we'll reschedule them for a different day & time during the month.
- If there is another Team Coach available to run your lesson, then you should schedule with them.
- Repeated unexplained absences may result in the loss of your position on the team.
- You'll be placed in JOAD/AAP to help your continued growth in the sport.
- You'll have a chance to reapply to Team after an agreed upon amount of time with the Team Coaches
